I make no secret about my love of mobile technology. And what isn’t to love?

Just a few short years ago if you went on vacation you not only had your mobile phone, but you had your still camera and maybe a video camera. And all the power cables, maybe film for both cameras, batteries, etc….  well, let’s face it, you needed an extra piece of luggage just for all that stuff.

Now, it’s in your smartphone. One device that is more than just for making calls. In fact, most people I know use their calling and messaging plans less and are more reliant on their data plans.

Think about it. If you’re the parent of a newborn you can whip out your smartphone, snap a picture and within seconds all of your friends and family can see your brand new baby. Video of your little girl’s first steps or your little boy’s first baseball game or the kids in the school play? From your phone to the grandparents in seconds.
